HSE auditing
GW Marine has a range of audit types. These are Company management system audit, site specific audits and third party audits. All audits are conducted to recognised industry standards and all auditors are certified lead auditors. Detailed reports are produced which provide the company with the opportunity for continuous improvement of their systems and facilities.
Company management system auditing
These audits review the company’s entire Safety Management System (SMS), from top management through to the operations level, and determine if the system is functional and operating as detailed in the company’s policy manual and associated documentation.
Site-specific auditing
This is a detailed review of the site’s operating systems and equipment and how efficiently these systems are being implemented and utilised. The audit will determine areas, which may need improvement. These audits can be equipment or systems based or a combination of both. Sites can be vessels, facilities, locations or project crews.
Third-party auditing
These audits are conducted on sub-contractors on behalf of the company. The audit is to determine if the sub-contractor is meeting the minimum requirements of the company’s HSE expectations. This audit will review the Sub-contractors systems and work procedures and determine if there is any shortfall from the company’s requirements / contract.
