HSE advisers
GW Marine can supply HSE Advisors for your crew. All HSE Advisors have valid offshore
safety training and medicals (as required by industry). HSE Advisors are available to suit your
company needs, be it short term contracts or long term rotational contracts. HSE advisers
have a range of skills that can meet your project specific equirement. These skill sets include
deepwater 3D/2D, shallow water marine, transition zone, metocean deployments and land.
Project management
GW Marine can manage your project from inception through to completion, which does include:
- Survey requirements & planning
- Permitting to local legislation requirements
- Environmental plan & impact report preparation & submission
- Liaison with other stakeholders in the permit area (ie Fisheries, etc)
- Project Tender preparation, submission to contractors & evaluation
thereof
- Crew HSE & technical audits
- Company field representative selection and management
- Project management and reporting thereof to Statutory Authorities as required
- Developing budgetary forecasts for the project
- Overseeing the development of project documentation
Small boat training
GW Marine can provide onboard small boat familiarisation training for crewmembers. The
training is to ensure all crewmembers of a small boat operation are adequately trained in order
to reduce the risk potential associated with this type of operation. This training is an ideal
introduction to the formal STCW certificate course that is taken at onshore facilities.
The onboard training will include:
- Requirements for pre-launch checks and toolbox meetings
- Underway and static launching techniques (use of cranes / davits). Including the best
mooring system for the boat to ensure the safest launch and recovery.
- Moving the small boat away from the mother vessel
- Small boat seamanship, including Man Overboard Recovery and search and rescue techniques.
- Approaching the mother vessel (or another vessel / installation)
- Underway and static recovery of the small boat
- Post mission debriefing, checks and maintenance log
